Robert Pollard

Robert Pollard is an American singer-songwriter and the frontman of the indie rock band Guided by Voices (GBV), known for their lo-fi aesthetic and prolific output. Emerging from Dayton, Ohio, in the early 1990s, Pollard's work is characterized by catchy melodies, inventive song structures, and a distinctive blend of rock, pop, and punk influences.
